The aim of this programme is to equip students with the basic project management tools and techniques that is used in the today’s construction for successful delivery of the project. The programme introduces students with project management skills and principles that are required for take up roles like supervisor, site coordinator, safety supervisor, site manager and project manager.

This programme demonstrates a broad knowledge on the management functions such as principles, planning, directing, monitoring, coordination and control. It is essential that today’s project requires specialised manager to manage the project rather than carried out by architects. Entry requirements for all courses above

a) Obtained at least 3 GCE ‘O’ level including English Language and any 2 science subjects with minimum 3 years working experience.

b) Obtained at least Grade E in any 3 GCE A level subjects or its equivalent.

c) Matured students with more than 5 years relevant working experience will be considered.

d) Other qualifications will be considered on a case to case basis.

Assessment Mode

All subjects will have a 100% examination, with each subject 24 contact hours.

The project module will have 48 contact hrs.

Students must attain a pass in every subjects and pass in project. Passing mark is 50/100 marks.

All engineering courses will be purely in tutorials.
